So Tanner's tubes fell out of his ears and he will have to have some put back in. We have decided to close our file at ACH with the ENT there and do the surgery down here. We feel that if this is to happen often, then it would be more efficient to have it done here rather than up in Calgary where the wait list is fairly long. It's not a difficult procedure. He'll be in and out in a day but he does have to go under. I have a feeling that this will be a life long thing so it's better to be closer have have shorter time to get in than longer. I'm 100% fine with it. It's no big deal. At least not for Matt and I. After a surgery or two, we have become efficient in our handling the side effects...tiredness, sleepiness, restlessness, crying, needles, doctors, lack of appetite. It almost, for us, becomes second nature when were in the situation. Maybe that sounds like we don't care, but we do. It's like practicing riding a bike or writing. Once you do it a couple times, it becomes easy in a way. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Anyways, that's the news around this part of life.

Aw, poor little Tanner. I'm sorry you guys will always have to deal with this stuff, but amazed at how well you handle it - always.
