So this is what I've been up to for the last 2 days....baking, baking and making cards. I baked cookies for our V.T. families, the heart cookies for my Subway co-workers, muffins for Tanner's PUF class and the big muffins are for us and the cards are for Tanner's Parented Pre-School class. Whew! I don't think that I've baked so much since Tanner's Birthday. I don't want to be one of those Mom's that uses the fact that I only found out last minute to NOT do something for Tanner's class. I really have no excuse. Tanner is my only child and I don't really have any other obligations. If I have time to spend on the computer, I have time to bake something (or make Valentines cards). I don't want Tanner to get older and think that I didn't care or was lazy because I didn't do things for him or I was the only mother not to give out Valentines. I would feel terrible. Of course, if I know it's too much, I won't do it. Like baking bread the week of Tanner's birthday...thank goodness for great friends to rescue you. I know my own limits and of course if it really was too much, I would know to say no and not feel bad. Saying no once in a while isn't going to kill anyone.
I'm thinking of having a little contest. I've seen some of my other friends do this and I think it's a good way to get people to your blog and promote what you make or do. I make cards and so the prize would be cards. How many would be interested in this? If you leave a comment on my blog then I would enter your name in a hat and draw it out and that would be the winner. I would post the cards that I would give away so you could see them. Anyways, let me know what you think and if you would be interested.
